Blooming Inclusiveness Campaign

Promoting Inclusivity For Individuals With Diverse Abilities

Launching in May and culminating in October, which is national anti-bullying month, Laila’s Gift® hosts a series of sunflower-themed events that foster dialogue and create opportunities for inclusive engagement for children with special needs, their families, and the broader community.

Symbolized by the sunflower, representing growth and resilience, this initiative emphasizes the limitless potential of those with diverse abilities. Each season, community members are invited to plant sunflower seeds in honor of individuals with special needs, with options for those unable to attend to submit profiles for seeds to be planted on their behalf. In the fall, everyone is welcome to celebrate at the Sunflower Festival, witnessing the beauty of inclusivity in full bloom.

The Weight Of Grief & Guilt Can Feel Overwhelming

For families who have experienced the loss of a child with special needs, the weight of grief
and guilt can feel overwhelming.

At Laila’s Gift®, we believe that each child is a precious gift to the world, and we aim to surround these families with kindness and support.

The Blooming Inclusiveness™ Grant

Each year, we honor one family with a Blooming Inclusiveness™ grant from our partner, Zigglebee®, celebrating the unique life of their beloved child and the everlasting impact they leave behind.

Together, we stand by these families, offering steadfast love and support as they navigate their journey, ensuring that the light of their child’s spirit continues to shine bright.
